My name is Dada Jagadiishananda (Andrew Rawlings), Dada means ‘elder brother’. In 1970 I learned meditation in Palo Alto, Ca from a traveling monk. He told me how to begin. Intrigued by the combination of rationality and spirituality, in ’77 I traveled to India to meet the Master and become a teacher myself. Attending training centers in Benares and in Katmandu, I studied the theory and practice of Tantra Yoga, the most ancient meditation practice of India. I traveled to many different countries disseminating the teachings of my guru. Since 2004 I have been in the United States teaching meditation privately and fulfilling different responsibilities as a senior monk of the Path of Bliss organization.
